The Workers' Advisers Office (WAO) is a branch of the Ministry of Labour, Citizens' Services and Open Government, operating independently of WorkSafeBC. The WAO provides workers, their dependants and other stakeholders with independent advice, assistance, representation, training and mentoring with respect to workers' compensation issues.

What to Expect

Step 2: WAO will contact you within 4 business days to set up a telephone appointment.
            *Please be prepared to provide the dates of decisions you disagree with.
Step 3: Telephone appointment with Intake Administrator.
